Our Rides

We are passionate about cycling and exploring the interesting sights of Singapore. We planned our routes with the Park Connector Network in mind, avoiding the busy thoroughfares and mainstream tourist attractions. In this way, you will experience a facet of the local lifestyle which many tourists and visitors will likely to miss.

Our rides are 15-18km (9-11mi) in distance. At a comfortable pace of 10kph (6mph), our rides can be undertaken in an hour and a half. We have planned a number of stops along the routes, for you to take in the sights and a photo or two. And in the tropical climate of high temperature and humidity all year round, we will take frequent breaks to re-hydrate.

Bukit Batok Town Park (Little Guilin)
Rain and adverse weather

Singapore being a small island is relatively flat and the gradients of our rides are modest (less than 5%) and short. Our bicycles are equipped with 7 gears, and any novice and experienced rider should have no difficulties pedaling over such slopes.

Being in the tropics, seasonal showers are expected. For that, numerous sheltering points are located along the park connectors. If the rain was light and do not pose safety concerns for riders, your guide will provide you with plastic ponchos. During heavy downpours, our guide will seek the nearest shelter to wait out the storm.

We provide you with the bicycles for the ride. We have a fleet of modern folding bicycles that are light, easy to handle and maneuverable. The bicycle saddles and handlebars are height adjustable, and are suitable for young and not-so-young riders. The 20-inch wheels are suited to riding on paved roads and paths on the Park Connector Network.

Our bicycles are well maintained and kept in good working condition. In the event of a breakdown during a ride, our guide is well equipped to handle the light repairs on the spot, to ensure that your ride is not disrupted.

We do provide riding helmets to participants, but the use of helmets is not legally required under local laws.

MRT station

Our rides start and end at different points. The routes are planned to avoid returning loops around the places of interests, so that you are able to visit and enjoy more sights within the planned program. The starting and terminating points were chosen at locations which are well-served by public transportation, including MRT (subway/metro), buses and taxi services.

Public transportation in Singapore is efficient, affordable and reliable. Before the commencement of the ride, we can assist you in determining the best mode of transportation to the starting point. Likewise, our guide will provide information and assistance for your ongoing travel and agenda from the terminating point before the ride ends.
